Definitions:
Offer: An “Offer” is the amount of money and/or service (i.e. Towing Service) offered by the Buyer. The Offer is the beginning of a transaction between the Buyer and the Seller. Offers are contingent upon the accuracy of the vehicle information submitted by the Seller. The Buyer reserves the right to change or terminate their Offer upon inspection of the vehicle. Offers are subject to change or termination at any time.
Seller: A “Seller” is a visitor of longislandjunkcars.com who submits information concerning their vehicle therefore requesting an Offer to purchase the vehicle. When a Seller receives and accepts an Offer from a Buyer, all of their vehicle and contact information will be passed along to the Buyer. The Seller will then be contacted by the Buyer or the designated Transporter/Carrier to arrange for the vehicle to be picked up and transported. The Buyer will also make all payment arrangements with the Seller. By you acting as a Seller, you acknowledge that you are at least 18 years of age and you have submitted only accurate and truthful information. Minors may use the longislandjunkcars.com services and website only in conjunction with the consent and supervision of their parents or guardians.
Buyer: A “Buyer” is a partner of longislandjunkcars.com who is willing to place Offers on vehicles submitted by Sellers to purchase their vehicle. The Offer amount is based upon the vehicle information that the seller submits on longislandjunkcars.com. Ifl the vehicle information is found to be inaccurate or fraudulent, the Buyer reserves the right to change or cancel their Offer. Each Buyer uses their own process for determining the value of a vehicle. When an Offer is accepted by a Seller, all of the Seller’s contact and other required information is provided to the Buyer in order to process the transaction.
Carrier: A “Carrier” is a person or company that is contracted through the Buyer who physically transports the Seller’s vehicle from the location to a location designated by the Buyer. Carriers will be dispatched directly through a Buyer and not through longislandjunkcars.com.
Fees: There are no Fees to use longislandjunkcars.com.
